Those serving the districts and their clubs as Lt. Governors, Presidents, Secretaries and Treasurers for the 2018-2019 year will be involved in training during the day.
Then! A fun evening in the Grand Island "Railside" area!
There are a variety of shops, restaurants, breweries, bars,
a chocolate shop and other locations to explore and enjoy!
Maps and descriptions will be provided soon.
The Grand Theatre has been restored to its origianal historical beauty.
Tickets are $5.50 and the show starts at 7:15.
And, of course, there are trains! Full Steam Ahead!
There is ample free parking in the area, but please sign up as there are plans to arrange shuttle service.

that are sent in to assist victims after disasters
such as hurricanes and shootings. These special animals are trained in Grand Island!

There are times I feel we should ask ourselves, "are we doing enough for the youth of our communities?"
As an officer of the Nebraska District of Optimist International, I feel I have a responsibility to encourage our members to strive to think of ways we can do better in our communities to help our youth get every opportunity to learn and grow, to become adults knowing that collectively our Optimist clubs across the state worked hard at giving them that opportunity.
If you are not an Optimist currently, consider joining our wonderful organization.
If you are an Optimist then ask yourself, "are we doing enough?"
